About the Show

old on to your hats and everything else that can move as the Herkimer gang decides to take a relaxing trip on the W.K.&S. Railroad. Rumor has it that Great Grandpappy Herkimer hid a moonshine still somewhere in the hills near the railroad, and everyone is trying to find it, along with the secret recipe for that good ole mountain dew. Great Grandpappy Herkimer's moonshine was so well known, that if someone can find the still and the recipe, there's a bucket of money to be made. Of course when there's money, there's bound to be a murder, and one of the Herkimers will meet their untimely end during the trip.

Join in the fun and help the gang solve the murder, or sit back and watch the action unfold on the station platform and in the aisles of the train! Funnier than a paper bag full of comedians, Billy Bob Herkimer's Hillbilly Reunion will have you rolling in the aisles as the train travels three miles through farms and woods.

The approximate length of the show and train ride is two hours.

The show is family friendly, and entertaining for everyone from age 3 to 103. If you are planning to bring small children, we’d like to make you aware that rather loud gun shots will be fired during the show (it is a murder mystery!) and the train cars do tend to get rather dark, especially during the return trip through the woods. Also, the vintage train coaches are not handicapped accessible and no restrooms are available on the train. If you have special needs, please discuss them with the station agent when making your reservations.
